Naturality Ladies.. Jill scott @ Carnegie Hall.
So I'm typing as I am walking out of the ever so amazing Jill Scott Concert. The concert was truy amazing. The place was packed from wall to wall. She sang all of her hits that we wanted to hear. Yay. I was seated next to the oh so lovely Andre J. I was a little taken back at first by his up close demeanor. But Andre is an absolute sweetheart and hell of a party gal. He cur a rug better then me in 3+ inch heels. I love it.
The shot ended 30 mins after it was supposed to after Jill serenaded us with her vocal "freestyle" it all started with a some mouth noises. The band quickly caught up with her beat pattern. I think Jill was even surprised. At how good her team was . No sooner then she finished the first verse her back up singers caught up with her harmony. She gave em a look like "That's what I'm talkin about." The entire audience was all in harmony a few minutes later mind u no one knew the actual song but Jill. It was a magic moment that if u weren't there u could only see on Youtube and even that ain"t the same. Jill was natural as ever.
And.
Speaking of natural.
Lots of women in their 20's are keepin it natural while the girls in their teens are wearing weaves bright colors and trying to be where we were 17 years ago. Wow.
I like the naturality. I enjoy the harmful chemical free life. And who knows it could all change one day. That'll be the day I'm not looking forward to.
